Hernandez Kids

When my Facebook page hit 600 fans I asked fans to enter to win a free photo session. Lisa Hernandez was chosen by Random.org and I don't know of anyone more deserving. She's an awesome woman and friend and she is also one fantastic crocheter! She has made some really neat props for me and I can't wait to use them. Anyway, here are a few of my faves from her children's session. Look how adorable they are!

Bowen, Hartis, Holder Family 2012

Although I live in a small town and have lived here all of my life, I still meet new people here all the time. I was excited when Brandi contacted me about doing a session for her incoming family who would be visiting all the way from North Carolina. Traveling from NC to Texas calls for a special photo session in itself, but since a new member had been added to the family Brandi wanted to document this visit for her son. They were such a sweet and loving family and I have no doubt that lil Bow has stolen the hearts of all of his family members. Here are a few of my faves from their session, and I will say I believe Bow was actually the easiest one to photograph lol. Usually it's the babies photographers worry about but he was such an awesome subject this day! Thanks Brandi for the opportunity, I hope you enjoyed your visit.

Jayden, Devon, Annika 1st Communion

I love sharing in special occasions especially when I've known the people all their lives. I can't believe how much these kids have grown. Jayden, Devon, and Annika will be celebrating their 1st Communions Sunday morning and I was asked to photograph them in their outfits. Look how beautiful these kids are!

Billy Mac ~ 8 months

I was so excited to meet Billy Mac and oh my what a happy boy he is. He was such a joy to photograph! He really is just as sweet as he looks! I almost didn't want to give him back to his mama after cuddling on him during his session. Can you say baby fever? Well, my almost 2 year old says we're not ready for that anyway lol. "No need baby mama" Aren't kids just hilarious? Here are a few of my favorites from Billy Mac's session. Love that name too ;)

I wish I could take credit for that laugh, but the truth is his sister was up in a tree and he adores her! I can be funny sometimes but this was all big sis Taylor. :)

All Boy~ I Heart Faces Photo Challenge

This month's I Heart Faces photo challenge theme is "All boy." I've done several senior sessions for guys this last year and I knew exactly which photo would fit perfectly. I just love the black and white here, the baseball theme, and the overall look of this photo. All of Ty's Baseball photos remain among my favorites from this year. Here is my "All Boy" submission. Mursaius is turning 1

Muraius is turning1.  I have so much fun with these sessions. Children are so much fun to photography. I especially love photographing little girls and seeing the different outfits their mother's choose. Here are a few from Mursaius's session.

Taryn ~ Senior 2012

Taryn was fun to work with. We explored new locations and enjoyed nature being that her session happened to be on Earth day :) Taryn will be attending Texas Tech University in the fall so we ended her session there. Congrats Taryn on all of your accomplishments, I have no doubt you're going to do great things!

Dylan Wee-Ball 2012

When you become a parent you learn how fast time actually passes by. My husband and I were just married when we baptized our 1st Godson Dylan. Wow it's crazy to see how much he's grown! His mom and I went out to do a quick mini session to capture his start of baseball, or Wee-Ball as it's called at his age :) Here are some of my favorites from his session!
